The Angela Knight Service Award
The Angela Knight Service Award was established in 2010 to recognize volunteers who have contributed their time, knowledge, and talents to Passionate Ink, and honors the contributions of Angela Knight, one of our founding members. It is a discretionary award presented for outstanding level of service and commitment to Passionate Ink’s membership and mission.

Nominations
- Recipients will be selected by the current Executive Board of Directors, who are ineligible for this award.
- General Members can provide suggestions to an Executive Board member, these are subject to all requirements for consideration. In order to nominate, each member of the Executive Board must:
- Present nominee to the board, either using the form below or email. Provide examples of qualifying service to Passionate Ink.
- Limit list to no more than three members.
- Current executive board members are ineligible for this award.
Who can be nominated
- Current Passionate Ink members in good standing who are not on the Executive Board, and
- Have met criteria for eligibility in the last three years
Criteria for nomination
- Shown measurable benefit and impact to the Passionate Ink community
- Provided exceptional service beyond role or position requirements
- Expended significant, individual time commitment to the membership and/or the organization’s mission
- Examples include, but are not limited to:
- Managing or leading PI initiatives
- Mentorship
- Navigating organizational level change
- Maintaining morale
Winner selection
The Executive Board will vote prior to the Annual meeting during a special executive session after presentation and discussion of nominations.
