While studying abroad at the University of East Anglia, Carrie lured an unsuspecting Englishman to the States, where she’s kept him a happy ex-pat for twenty-five years. They live just north of Chicago with their two teen children: a caricature artist and a theatre undergrad. At any given time, Carrie can be found leading tours at the largest Civil War museum in the Midwest, scaring the heck out of people as a haunted house actor, following ’90s pop music icons Suede around Europe, or backpacking Wisconsin’s Ice Age Trail.
