Judges needed for 2015 Golden Claddagh
Celtic Hearts Romance Writers RWA chapter’s 2015 Golden Claddagh will be opening in just a few short weeks and the chapter is in need of volunteers for the first round judging phase! From the chapter:
This year we have exciting news. NO MORE MANUAL SCORE SHEETS! That’s right folks. The Golden Claddagh score sheets are now electronic. You will receive a link in which you will be able to score each entry by itself that will automatically add the totals for you.
- Who can judge?: Any member of Romance Writers of America.
- What if I’m unpublished?: Unpublished and Published writers of Romance are highly encouraged to participate. We are all readers and therefore can judge.
- What if I want to enter and judge?: You can be both an entrant and a judge as long as it is not in the same category. Example: I am entering in the Contemporary category, but I will judge in the Young Adult category.
Entrants are judged in six categories:
- Hook
- Character
- Voice
- Manuscript
- Story
- Overall story enjoyment
